- Engineering and improving cloud infrastructure across AWS, GovCloud, and Azure, ensuring systems are scalable, resilient, and cost-effective
- Partnering closely with Application Development, Architecture, and Security to ensure platforms support fast, reliable, and secure delivery
- Strengthening platform reliability and operational discipline, resolving complex issues when they arise and reducing the likelihood they happen again
- Contributing directly to the work
- Design and operate CI/CD pipelines that enable fast, reliable deployments
- Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Standardize deployment patterns and eliminate manual processes
- Engineer scalable, high-availability cloud environments
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management
- Optimize cost, performance, and system reliability
- Integrate security scanning, controls, and auditability into pipelines
- Support environments aligned to NIST 800-171 and similar frameworks
- Improve monitoring, alerting, and observability
- Lead root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes
- Support backup, recovery, and resilience practices
- Set and enforce engineering standards
- Mentor engineers and improve team capability
- Drive clarity, ownership, and accountability through how work is executed
