Lead Software Engineer, iOS/Mobile

Beacon AI is a fast-moving team building an AI platform to enhance flight safety and efficiency. They are seeking a Lead iOS Software Engineer to take ownership of core iOS systems, balancing hands-on development with technical leadership to deliver reliable mobile experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and modern iOS frameworks
• Own and evolve the architecture of the iOS platform, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance in production environments
• Lead and mentor iOS engineers through code reviews, architectural guidance, and day-to-day technical support
• Contribute hands-on to complex features and core modules, modeling strong design and implementation practices
• Collaborate closely with design and product partners to deliver intuitive, pilot-friendly user experiences
• Integrate with internal and external APIs, real-world data sources, and hardware interfaces to enable secure, real-time functionality
