Lead the end-to-end technical architecture and design of OMS solutions to support complex omnichannel business requirements
Drive solution assessments, architecture alignment, and fit-gap analysis with enterprise architecture standards
Own high-level and low-level design artifacts and lead technical design reviews across OMS modules
Provide technical leadership during OMS implementation, customization, integration, testing, UAT, and production rollout phases
Guide development teams on OMS best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and IT teams to ensure solutions meet business and operational goals
Support OMS upgrades, roadmap planning, and production support activities including issue triage and root-cause analysis
Coordinate with product vendors for defect resolution and enhancement planning aligned to release schedules
Qualifications
Extensive hands-on experience with IBMOrder Management System (OMS) across Distributed Order Management, Inventory, Pricing, Call Center, Store, Supplier Collaboration,Logistics, and Reverse Logistics modules
Proven expertise in OMS architecture, solution design, and end-to-end implementation in large-scale retail and omnichannel environments
Strong experience in order lifecycle management, including sales orders, purchase orders, transfer orders, payments, invoicing, taxation, and returns
Deep knowledge of OMS integrations with ERP, WMS, CRM, e-commerce platforms, tax engines, and logistics partners usingREST/SOAP services
Strong proficiency in Java, XML, XSLT, Angular, and microservices-based architectures
Experience with bothB2B and B2C OMS implementations
Strong understanding of Next-Gen OMS/ OMoC 0 architecture and containerized/cloud deployments
