About this role
Blutrex is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for a long-term contract engagement to support the design, implementation, and operation of cloud infrastructure for robotics systems. The role involves building scalable AWS-based infrastructure, developing automation solutions, and ensuring high operational reliability across the technology stack.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure to support client-facing robotics systems
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using AWS-native services, including Lambda
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor system health, performance, and reliability across distributed systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, networking, and operating systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure operational excellence
- Apply senior-level software engineering practices, including code quality, testing, and documentation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, software development, DevOps, or related roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code solutions
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems and cloud environments
- Strong software engineering proficiency in Python or Go
- Demonstrated experience automating operational tasks and implementing monitoring and alerting solutions
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation frameworks such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK
- Experience implementing observability practices, including metrics, logging, and tracing
- Working knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance considerations
- Experience testing, deploying, and monitoring robotic systems or robotics-adjacent software
- Demonstrated track record of delivering AWS-based solutions with measurable business or operational impact
