B2B Sales Development Representative--Base+ Commission Model

One Thing Marketing is a digital marketing agency specializing in bespoke online marketing solutions for clients in the home service and trade industries. They are seeking a results-oriented Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will focus on generating new leads through outbound prospecting and booking qualified appointments for the sales team.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, research, and build your own lead lists (LinkedIn, social media, Boolean search, etc.)
• Conduct cold outreach via calls, emails, and LinkedIn to generate new opportunities
• Reactivate old leads from the CRM and convert them into qualified meetings
• Conduct qualification calls for all booked meetings (from any source)
• Qualify prospects based on need, budget, decision-making authority, and growth intent
• Book meetings with qualified decision-makers for the sales team
• Maintain accurate CRM records, including activity tracking and detailed notes
• Complete qualification checklist for every booked meeting
• Follow up consistently with prospects to move them through the pipeline
• Provide feedback to marketing on lead quality, objections, and campaign effectiveness
• Meet and exceed monthly qualified meeting targets

Requirements:

• 1–3+ years of experience in SDR, lead generation, or appointment setting (preferably in digital marketing or B2B services)
• Strong cold calling, email outreach, and prospecting skills
• Experience building lead lists and sourcing prospects independently
• Confident communication and objection-handling abilities
• Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, GoHighLevel, Salesforce, etc.)
• Candidates must provide evidence of past performance (e.g., meetings booked per month, conversion rates, CRM data, or similar metrics)
• Target-driven mindset with proven results (meetings booked, conversion rates, or similar metrics)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and process compliance
• Experience working with home service businesses or similar industries is strongly preferred
