About this role
EXL is seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) experience. The role involves building and automating scalable cloud-native infrastructure, developing CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud performance and improve system reliability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using best‑practice architecture
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed, reliability, and automation across environments
- Support application teams by providing cloud governance, tooling, and DevOps guidance to enhance delivery processes
- Implement and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE)
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to standardize and automate environment provisioning
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize systems using GCP-native tooling and observability practices
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth releases and platform stability
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance performance, security, and operational efficiency
Requirements:
- Graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- 3-4 years of experience in data science or data analysis
