Varsity Tutors, a Nerdy Company, is seeking online Electrical Engineering tutors to support students through their Live Learning Platform. Tutors will have the flexibility to set their own schedules and make a significant impact on students' academic success while teaching various electrical engineering concepts.

Requirements:
- Advanced Subject Mastery: Deep knowledge of circuit theory, electromagnetics, analog and digital electronics, power systems, signal processing, control systems, and communication systems
- Ability to explain Thevenin and Norton equivalents, transfer functions, Laplace transforms, and Maxwell equations while preparing students for electrical engineering coursework, the FE examination, and professional engineering practice
- Conceptual Teaching & Problem-Solving: Skilled at breaking down AC circuit analysis, filter design, and control system stability analysis
- Guides students through solving RLC circuit problems, designing amplifier circuits, analyzing Bode plots, implementing feedback control systems, and interpreting electromagnetic field solutions
- Emphasizes mathematical rigor in engineering analysis and connects electrical engineering to power grid design, telecommunications, and semiconductor industry applications
- Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with electrical engineering curricula and common challenges such as complex impedance calculations, understanding electromagnetic wave propagation, and applying transform methods to circuit analysis
- Adapts instruction using circuit simulation software, worked examples, and laboratory-connected problems to support undergraduate electrical engineering students from introductory circuits through advanced electromagnetics and systems courses
- Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and student needs
