Peer Consulting Resources Inc. is seeking a communications-focused Project Manager to support a strategic corporate communications function. This role will help develop, edit, coordinate, and manage communications materials that build awareness of organizational programs, initiatives, and accomplishments.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, edit, and manage approvals for press releases, op-eds, talking points, and related materials
- Support earned media and public relations efforts across multiple programs and initiatives
- Ensure consistency in tone, message, accuracy, and style across deliverables
- Monitor trends and identify opportunities to expand media reach
- Help improve content creation workflows and communications reporting
- Collaborate with internal teams, including communications, marketing, web, and social media
- Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years of experience in journalism, communications, public relations, or related work
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Asana
- Experience in the clean energy sector
- Experience supporting public sector or mission-driven communications
- Strong media relations and story development background
