QA Engineer

Vast.ai is a fast-growing startup based in Los Angeles and San Francisco, focused on democratizing and decentralizing AI through a peer-to-peer GPU marketplace. They are hiring a QA Engineer to drive both manual and automated testing across their web applications and backend services, ensuring the delivery of reliable, high-performance software.

Responsibilities:

• Execute manual, exploratory, and regression testing for web apps and backend services
• Maintain and expand test plans for existing and upcoming features
• Design high-signal test cases and build/extend automation where it matters most
• Validate requirements and ensure releases are stable and defect-free
• Investigate failures, identify root causes, and file clear, actionable tickets
• Partner with Product and Engineering on acceptance criteria and release readiness
