Mainframe Automation Engineer

Virtual Labs is seeking a Mainframe Automation Engineer to support mainframe operations. The role involves working on automation migration projects and requires strong skills in TSO, ISPF, and JCL, as well as the ability to write REXX.

Responsibilities:

• Experience working in a mainframe operations environment providing an operational, service, consultancy or support role
• Z/OS Automation Migration Projects
• Demonstrated strong written and communications skills
• The ability to use TSO and ISPF JCL skills
• Ability to write REXX
• Working Knowledge of the System Automation Policy Database (PDB)
• Your experience should include implementing and using following products: with a desire to expand your skills to cover others: * NetView for z/OS; System Automation for z/OS
