CAP Index is seeking a motivated, client-facing Project Manager to support the delivery of work for one of their most important client engagements. The role involves translating client needs into structured work for the engineering team while supporting key Product Owner responsibilities within an Agile/Scrum environment.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in and help lead client meetings across technical and business stakeholders
- Help manage client expectations, timelines, and deliverables
- Build strong working relationships and ensure clear, consistent communication
- Translate client requests into structured, actionable next steps
- Support delivery of client projects against defined timelines
- Coordinate across Technology, Research & Innovation, and Sales teams
- Track milestones, risks, and dependencies
- Ensure deliverables are organized and completed on schedule
- Support Agile/Scrum workflows with the technology team
- Help organize and maintain the product backlog in JIRA
- Assist with sprint planning, backlog refinement, and ticket organization
- Translate client requirements into clear, actionable JIRA tickets
- Work with engineers to clarify requirements and priorities
- Reinforce scope, timelines, and deliverables with the client
- Identify and escalate risks related to changing requirements
- Help ensure alignment between client expectations and technical delivery
- Prepare clear status updates for internal leadership
- Document project requirements, workflows, and key decisions
- Maintain organized records to support continuity and alignment
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, consulting, or similar roles
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- PMP certified
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including technical teams
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar tools
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments
- Knowledgeable of software development
- Experience supporting enterprise clients (financial services a plus)
- Some travel required
