Senior Network Engineer (F5 & Cisco/Arista)

Software Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in F5 load balancing and enterprise network infrastructure. The role involves providing L3 support for network infrastructure, designing and implementing Layer 2/Layer 3 networks, and ensuring network security and reliability.

Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 support for network infrastructure (80% F5, 20% network operations)
• Design, implement, and support Layer 2/Layer 3 networks
• Configure and manage Cisco and Arista routing/switching technologies
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis
• Ensure network security, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain documentation
• Support automation initiatives using tools like Python or Ansible

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in network engineering with Cisco/Arista platforms
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, TCP/IP, QoS, LAN/WAN
• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM/DNS)
• Proven experience managing Virtual Servers, Pools, and Health Monitors
• Experience in enterprise-level environments with high availability
