About this role
Coinbase is a company focused on increasing economic freedom through blockchain technology. They are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale enterprise data projects and collaborate with various teams to deliver technology programs and integration solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Drive large scale enterprise data projects that are highly technical and cross functional in nature
- Collaborate with external & internal partners (i.e. HR, Finance, Customer Experience, Product, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Security, Engineering, Privacy, Data Governance) to gather business requirements and define objectives
- Contribute technical expertise to project, process, and system development; coordinating the delivery of enterprise data, integration, and architecture initiatives across the team
- Lead the Integration Platform Services program with a product lens
- Communicate risks, status, and timelines to partners and senior management as part of periodic business reviews
- Establish and track data project/program milestones aligning to OKRs
- Provide program status updates and visibility in operational review meetings
- Define and lead the end-to-end execution of an enterprise data program for addressing regulatory compliance requirements with customer and financial data
- Manage requirements documentation, milestone mapping, prioritization, and communication to facilitate project collaboration
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in project/program management and working with engineering teams
- Working knowledge of several SaaS apps (Snowflake, Salesforce.com, Workday, Workato, Netsuite, Zip Intake/P2P or equivalent enterprise applications)
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical partners in order to drive alignment
- Willingness to learn and apply processes unique to the challenges at Coinbase
- Experience in successfully applying Lean, Agile, ITIL, or process improvement to previous workflows
- Expert at coordinating highly technical engineering/data teams and delivering value to our customers effectively
- Creative problem solver when battling through project challenges
- High proficiency in Jira, Slack, and G-Suite
- Certification in Program Management or Project Management
- Knowledgeable and passionate about cryptocurrency and blockchain
- Advanced understanding of G-Suite, Slack, Jira, and Coda
- Product management experience
- Engineering experience
