Description: IT Technical Support Work Location: Kokomo, IN, USA Contract Period: 1+yearPrimary Responsibilities - Serve as the initial point of contact for internal applications, hardware, mobile, and remote technology in a manufacturing environment
- Log, categorize, and action all incoming ticket activity in the Helpdesk Ticketing System
- Follow up on outstanding issues with customers regarding status and closure of incidents/requests
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network problems
- Document procedures, FAQs, and inventory of assets
- Isolate problem trends and complete troubleshooting efforts for recurring problems until permanent solutions are identified
- Provide technical advice to executive-level staff and their assistants based on IT expertise
- Deliver extraordinary IT support to C-level users and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Build trust and strong relationships with customers and act as a bridge between customers and consulting groups for new business opportunities
- Serve as Company Security Program Administrator
- Serve as Company VPN Administrator
- Create IT policies and application forms
- Provide VIP support and business traveler support
- Perform IT server room cleanup and follow up on all issues in the IT room
- Check network issues and cooperate with the Network team
- Check file server issues and cooperate with the Server team
- Perform PC and laptop repair and resolve software issues
- Manage security applications
- Resolve Windows and printer issues
- Apply basic server and network knowledge
Qualifications - Strong working knowledge of core applications including Windows 7/10/11, Microsoft Office, Imaging Software, SCCM, and Active Directory
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize work to meet defined SLAs
- Android mobile experience in a corporate environment is a plus
- Strong understanding of basic server or network skills
Requirements - Bachelor's degree preferred with at least 1+ years of Corporate Tech Support experience
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
- Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Occasional night and weekend work (Saturday and Sunday) if required
