Title: Senior GitHub Administrator

Duration: 5 Months (3 Years Extension)

Location: Austin, Texas 78751. The working position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework. Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Thurs) required to be onsite at the location listed above.

Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas.

Summary:

Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives. Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program. Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.

GitHub Administrator will be responsible for governance, security, compliance, and automation of the GitHub Enterprise platform. Ensure DevSecOps enablement, audit readiness, and standardized CI/CD practices across the enterprise software development lifecycle.

Required Skills:

8 Years of Required experience in Git-based version control administration

8 Years of Required Hands-on experience managing GitHub Enterprise (Cloud or Server) organizations

8 Years of Required Expertise in RBAC, SAML/SSO, and branch protection strategies

8 Years of Required Proficiency in GitHub Actions and YAML-based workflow automation

8 Years of Required Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

8 Years of Required Experience with audit logging, compliance reporting, and access reviews

8 Years of Required Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation

8 Years of Required Experience implementing DevSecOps practices within CI/CD pipelines

8 Years of Required Experience with GitHub Advanced Security (CodeQL, Secret Scanning)

Preferred Skills:

4 Years of Preferred Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep)

4 Years of Preferred Knowledge of policy-as-code implementations

4 Years of Preferred Ability to document governance standards and developer guides

4 Years of Preferred Experience leading technical enablement sessions
