- Good Data Engineers who have worked as ETL Engineer and good exp in Abnitio (Preferred) or Informatica.
- Also good exp in Databricks.
- Expert in AWS and Spark.

Rate Range - $65/hr Range (for very good candidate add another $5)
Overview
A Data Modeler creates logical and physical data models that define how data is organized within databases and data platforms. They work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineers to ensure data is accurate, consistent, and scalable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models
- Define entities, relationships, attributes, and data flows
- Translate business requirements into data structures
- Create and maintain data dictionaries and metadata
- Collaborate with data engineers, DBAs, and analysts
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards
- Optimize database performance through proper modeling
- Support data warehousing and ETL processes
- Maintain documentation and version control of models
Required Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- Data modeling techniques (ER modeling, dimensional modeling)
- Database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake)
- SQL and query optimization
- Familiarity with:
- Data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake schema)
- ETL/ELT processes
- Big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark)
- Experience with modeling tools:
- ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner
Analytical Skills
- Ability to understand complex business processes
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Problem-solving and critical thinking
