Imagine Pediatrics is a tech enabled, pediatrician led medical group reimagining care for children with special health care needs. The Senior Business Intelligence Analyst will work cross-functionally to drive analyses and insights that lead to improved business performance for various clinical and operational teams.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for answering client reporting or business development questions using clear, accurate data analysis
- Develop dashboards in Tableau to support client reporting, expanding patient populations and emerging clinical programs
- Apply business intelligence best practices to ensure dashboards are user-friendly, performant, meet production standards and aligned with business goals
- Create analytical models in dbt to support Tableau dashboards and downstream reporting
- Use SQL and other tools to collect, process, and analyze large datasets from claims, EHR, HIE, and programmatic sources
- Complete analytics requests and ad-hoc reporting needs through Atlassian (e.g., JIRA), providing clear updates and prioritization
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and internal data teams to develop new tools and capabilities that improve operational efficiency
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics, preferably in commercial and business development
- 3+ years of experience with Tableau demonstrating advanced use of calculations, parameters, performance tuning and interactivity
- Strong SQL skills and the ability to build analytic tools quickly to generate actionable insights from large-scale data in Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses
- Proven ability to communicate findings effectively through data storytelling that connects insights with business goals and impact
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, making decisions with limited information, and adapting to evolving business priorities
- Experience using dbt for data modeling and using GitHub for version control
- Familiarity with healthcare data sources (e.g., claims, EHR, health information exchange) is a strong plus
