MedMe Health is dedicated to empowering pharmacists across North America through a cloud-based platform that enhances clinical services. They are seeking a Senior Product Designer to translate complex product requirements into user-friendly designs, collaborate with product teams, and contribute to a design-centric culture.
Responsibilities:
- Translate complex product requirements into easy-to-use designs for our end-users, ensuring our software is user-friendly and adheres to high quality and accessibility standards
- Design and prototype user interfaces, user workflows, sitemaps, personas, interaction models, and visual design elements for web across all devices/browsers for pharmacy users and patients
- Work closely with engineers and product managers to oversee the development, testing, and implementation of your design ideas
- Apply and contribute to our design system, ensuring a consistent user experience across all products. This includes evolving design system patterns for AI-backed features
- Be the voice of the user - conduct user research, data-informed analysis, and stakeholder interviews to fully understand customer needs, pains, and behaviours to continually optimize for an improved user experience. Leverage AI-assisted research synthesis tools to accelerate insight generation while maintaining rigorous, human-centred interpretation
- Conduct regular design reviews and iterate on feedback from team members and users
- Stay abreast of the latest design trends, competitor UI designs, and product enhancements to ensure our product maintains its edge
- Design AI-powered interfaces with a strong emphasis on trust, transparency and explainability. Ensure that customers understand what the system is doing, why, and when their expert clinical judgement should take over
- Help foster an atmosphere of creativity and innovation across teams/departments. This includes championing responsible, thoughtful use of AI tools in the design process
- Facilitate collaboration between the design team and other departments (such as product management, engineering, and marketing) to ensure a holistic product development process such as design reviews, design hand-offs, etc
- Influence product strategy by bringing user-focused design considerations to the table, collaborating with the voice of the customer program and help promote a design-centric culture within the company
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in product design
- Ability to translate complex product requirements into easy-to-use designs
- Experience designing and prototyping user interfaces, user workflows, sitemaps, personas, interaction models, and visual design elements for web across all devices/browsers
- Experience working closely with engineers and product managers to oversee the development, testing, and implementation of design ideas
- Ability to apply and contribute to a design system, ensuring a consistent user experience across all products
- Conduct user research, data-informed analysis, and stakeholder interviews to understand customer needs, pains, and behaviours
- Conduct regular design reviews and iterate on feedback from team members and users
- Stay abreast of the latest design trends, competitor UI designs, and product enhancements

- Successful track record of generating design ideas and taking ownership of the design process
- Experience working closely with a development team using agile practices
- Experience with tools like Figma, Figma Make, and Figma AI
- Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate ideation, research synthesis, copy drafting, and visual concept generation
- Comfortable with prompt-driven design workflows
- Passionate about design excellence and familiar with latest UI components/trends
- Interested in or have experience working for a healthcare startup
- Strong communication and team working skills
- A sizeable appetite for learning and self-development
- Experience designing for AI-powered workflows, recommendation surfaces, or clinical decision support tools
- Familiarity with conversational UI or chat-based interface design
- Exposure to agentic product features (multi-step automated tasks, approval flows, human-in-the-loop checkpoints)
- Awareness of AI ethics frameworks, particularly in regulated industries (healthcare, finance, legal)
