Persistent Systems is an AI-led, platform-driven Digital Engineering and Enterprise Modernization partner that combines technical expertise with industry experience. They are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to work on advanced AI solutions, focusing on Machine Learning, NLP, and Document AI.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in Machine Learning, NLP, and Document AI
- Hands-on expertise with Python, PyTorch / TensorFlow
- Classical ML and deep learning models
- Feature engineering for structured + unstructured data
- Experience with open source and AWS OCR (Textract), document classification, entity extraction, and text summarization
- Proven experience deploying ML solutions on AWS
- Hands-on with SageMaker (training, endpoints, monitoring), Textract, Comprehend, Bedrock
- Familiarity with United AI Studio (UAIS) pipelines, guardrails, and governance workflows (or strong ability to ramp up quickly)
- Experience working with large-scale claims or healthcare datasets
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills
- Understanding of APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
- Prior experience in Claims, Healthcare, Insurance, or Revenue Cycle domains
- Experience building TAT prediction, workflow optimization, or risk scoring models
- Knowledge of Agentic AI, RAG architectures, and SOP-driven AI solutions
- Exposure to Responsible AI, model explainability, and regulatory compliance
