Full Stack Software Engineer 5 - Member Experience Core Systems

Netflix is a leading entertainment company that aims to entertain the world through innovative storytelling and technology. They are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to enhance their Member Experience Core Systems, focusing on building tools to improve developer experience and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role involves working with high-scale distributed systems and implementing ML-driven personalization.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement debugging tools for their services
• Enhance our user interfaces to provide intuitive and seamless experiences for engineers, incorporating feedback and best practices to improve usability and adoption
• Incorporate GenAI tools to enhance developer productivity by automating repetitive tasks

Requirements:

• You have strong expertise with modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React/Typescript)
• You have experience with at least one backend language/framework (e.g. Java/Python/Go)
• You have experience building and consuming RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a plus)
• You proactively communicate with cross-functional (such as product and UX) teams to drive projects
• You have a BS/MS in Computer Science, Applied Math, Engineering, or a related field
• You have experience working with teams distributed across multiple time zones
• You have experience with the latest GenAI stack (LLMs, RAG, Agents/Tools)
• You have experience building distributed backend systems
• You have experience building enterprise level tools
