Software Engineer, Integration

Bamboo Insurance is seeking a Software Engineer – Integration to join their growing Technology team. The role involves designing and developing integration architecture using Guidewire, focusing on microservices and collaborating with the DevOps team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain our application and integration architecture with Guidewire InsuranceSuite Cloud
• Partner with the DevOps team on establishing AWS CodePipelines
• Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have

Requirements:

• Expertise in RESTful web services architecture in conjunction with microservices
• Experience with implementing and integrating Guidewire InsuranceSuite Cloud with third party services
• Must have at least Guidewire Certified Specialist certification
• Programming experience in Java and Gosu
• Experience in containerized, distributed application development
• Experience with frameworks such as Apache Kafka, Apache Camel, Spring Boot
• Experience with Jira, Jira Advanced Roadmaps, Confluence to manage tickets across multiple projects
• Skilled in organizing and facilitating meetings across various stakeholders
• Adept in presenting technical concepts to a non-technical audience
• Ability to effectively plan and prioritize work activities
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• At least five years Software Engineer related experience required
• At least three years Guidewire Integration development experience required
• Advanced knowledge of the full software development life-cycle
• Property and Casualty Insurance domain knowledge
