Staff Product Designer - Shared Experiences

Intuit is dedicated to empowering small businesses with innovative tools and services, particularly through their QuickBooks platform. The Staff Product Designer will lead the design of significant projects, focusing on creating exceptional, AI-driven user experiences that enhance the QuickBooks ecosystem for small to mid-sized businesses.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of multiple medium-to-large scale projects with high proficiency; raising the bar for design across the team and broader organization
• Create high-fidelity prototypes and design specifications that effectively communicate design intent and compelling vision
• Participates in design planning and visioning
• Speaks to the role that their craft plays in a design
• Understands the relationship between visual presentation and comprehension
• Explore and implement innovative design solutions that leverage emerging patterns and AI
• Models a platform mindset and looks at work in terms of an entire suite of products or experiences; thinks critically about ways to experiment, stretch, and meaningfully diverge from the system to learn and ultimately improve the system and its outcomes
• Leverages industry knowledge and strategic insights to guide and support work
• Presents work with polish and confidence
• Leads meetings effectively, and represents their craft in various situations
• Ability to convey holistic ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping
• Articulate design concepts and rationale through compelling presentations and narratives
• Influence and inspire cross-functional teams and leadership through effective storytelling
• Facilitate design artifacts, shares, workshops and critiques to drive alignment across leadership as well as both design and product teams
• Mentors and up levels the craft of others including senior and junior designers on the team
• Coaches others on interpersonal and presentation skills
• Implements and defines team processes such as critiques and offsites
• Establish yourself as a thought leader within the design community, both internally and externally
• Proactively suggests and drives activities that bring the team together
• Participates in hiring activities such as interviewing and sourcing
