Job Title: Quality Analyst (Tester) Java & Mainframe || Atlanta, GA || Onsite
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Analyst (Tester) to design test cases, execute testing, validate results, and log defects. The role involves working on Java applications and mainframe systems in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements and create test plans, scenarios, and test cases
- Perform testing on Java applications and distributed systems
- Execute tests, review results, and ensure accuracy of changes
- Work with databases (DB2, Postgres) for data validation
- Track defects using Jira
- Prepare technical and user documentation
- Collaborate with teams to meet deadlines
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of QA/testing experience (Java applications)
- Strong experience with DB2 and Postgres
- Knowledge of SDLC, test execution, and integration testing
- Debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Good to Have:
- Java programming knowledge
- AWS experience
- Kofax
