Open Rank, Tenured or Tenure-Track Faculty in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence

Texas State University is seeking applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position in its Department of Mathematics. The successful candidate is expected to establish a strong research record and teach courses at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a strong record of high-quality research in Data Science, Machine Learning, and/or Artificial Intelligence
• Teach mathematics and/or statistics courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Supervise student projects at the undergraduate and graduate levels
• Participate in service to the university community and broader profession
• Meet the required qualifications for the applied rank
