Job Description
Overview:
We are looking for a Tableau Developer with strong experience in data visualization, dashboard development, and business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Tableau development and a total of 7+ years in data analytics or BI. Proficiency in Tableau, SQL, data modeling, and reporting tools is required.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into impactful visualizations.
Connect Tableau to various data sources including databases, data warehouses, and cloud platforms.
Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability.
Perform data analysis and ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports.
Implement best practices in data visualization and storytelling.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to dashboards, data sources, and performance.
Participate in code reviews and continuously improve reporting standards and processes.
Qualifications:
Strong experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Online
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
Experience in data modeling and working with relational databases
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
Experience with tools like Excel, Power BI (nice to have), or other BI tools
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python (preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of data visualization best practices and dashboard design
