Technical Project Manager – Casting, Machining & Sheet Metal

Redstone Manufacturing is a U.S. manufacturer of CNC, sheet metal, and cast components, and they are seeking a Technical Project Manager to own manufacturing projects end-to-end. The role involves managing new parts from quote through production, working with overseas suppliers, and addressing real-time issues related to quality and delays.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing drawings and catching problems before they hit production
• Driving DFM with suppliers (not just commenting on it)
• Managing new parts from first quote through production and repeat orders
• Working directly with overseas suppliers to get parts made correctly
• Dealing with issues in real time (quality, delays, unclear specs)
• Communicating directly with customers when things go right and when they don’t

Requirements:

• You can read technical drawings fluently (including GD&T)
• You understand how parts are actually made, specifically: Die casting and sand casting, CNC machining, Sheet metal fabrication
• You've worked directly with suppliers
• You've taken parts from drawing → production → delivery
• You're comfortable owning problems and being accountable for outcomes
• Asia experience strongly preferred
