Elios Talent is seeking a Senior IT Field Engineer to design, deploy, and support advanced technology systems powering intelligent workflows. This role focuses on delivering reliable, scalable solutions in real-world environments, with responsibilities including deploying IT systems, designing architectures, and collaborating with engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy, configure, and support advanced IT systems, including AI-enabled platforms and distributed applications
- Design and implement system architectures that support scalable, high-performance workflows
- Build and support integrations across platforms, ensuring reliability and seamless data flow
- Assist in developing and maintaining AI-driven workflows, including orchestration layers and automation systems
- Support implementation of end-to-end data pipelines, including retrieval systems and performance optimization
- Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure system performance, uptime, and reliability
- Troubleshoot complex system, network, and application issues across environments
- Manage deployments in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Collaborate with engineering, data, and product teams to support system integrations and enhancements
- Ensure systems meet security, compliance, and operational best practices
Requirements:
- 6+ years of experience in IT engineering, systems engineering, or infrastructure-focused roles
- Experience supporting and deploying complex, distributed systems in production environments
- Exposure to AI/LLM-powered systems or modern automation platforms
- Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, applications, and integrations
- Experience working in cloud environments and containerized systems
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and establish operational best practices
- Strong experience with Python or scripting for automation
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with system integrations, APIs, and backend services
- Understanding of data pipelines, vector databases, or search systems
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- Knowledge of networking, system architecture, and infrastructure design
- Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on reliability and performance
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, evolving technical environments
- Comfortable working across infrastructure, systems, and application layers
