AI Engineer

Zafhires is seeking an AI Engineer to build and integrate AI-driven workflows across real estate and bookkeeping operations. The role involves designing automation for data processing and operational tasks using modern AI tools, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and decision-making in the business.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AI-driven workflows to automate data ingestion, document parsing, and routine accounting/operational tasks
• Build end-to-end solutions that extract insights from real-estate datasets to support investment and operational decisions
• Integrate LLMs and other AI tools into day-to-day workflows (e.g., contract/document summarization, data normalization)
• Prototype and operationalize automation for bookkeeping tasks and reporting where relevant
• Work closely with the accounting lead / owner to prioritize use cases and measure impact
• Maintain and improve AI tooling, prompts, and processes to ensure reliability and accuracy

Requirements:

• Proven experience with LLMs and production workflows; explicit familiarity with Claude / Anthropic strongly preferred
• Practical experience parsing and working with large datasets; strong data-processing skills
• Experience designing automation or workflow systems (end-to-end) and integrating AI into business processes
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Comfortable working US hours (overseas candidates must be able to align schedules)
• Full-time availability and commitment to one employer
• Background in data engineering, software development, or ML engineering
• Experience applying AI to real-estate or accounting workflows
• Familiarity with tools/platforms used for automation, ETL, or orchestrating LLMs
• Experience working with small business operations and building pragmatic, maintainable solutions
