Morgan Stanley is looking for a Vice President to join the HR Business Partner team that supports the Institutional Securities Group. This role involves acting as a primary HR Business Partner, handling employee relations issues, career development, and various annual processes while collaborating with business leaders globally.
Responsibilities:
- Engage and manage relationships with a broad and geographically diverse client group
- Provide general HR leadership and guidance to managers and employees in the areas of performance management, objective setting, workforce strategy, coaching, staffing issues, employee relations, compensation, and organizational development
- Oversee key year-end processes, including: Compensation provide support and guidance to business leaders during the year-end compensation process
- Promotion Individual will manage the year-end promotion processes
- Implement and facilitate annual talent management processes including talent ranking process; provide advice on development of employees
- Collaborate with key business leaders to come up with innovative ideas to enhance culture, diversity, and inclusion
- Ensure our hiring managers are provided the appropriate resources to be effective in their recruitment efforts for key senior roles
- Provide oversight and direction in the handling of complex employee relations matters
- Within the context of business priorities, work proactively with managers to identify and develop top talent and successors to critical roles; partner with Talent Management team to create development plans for high potential employees
- This role will work globally with our HR partners in EMEA and Asia while also providing oversight to junior HR team members
- Collaboration with our partners across talent, diversity and recruiting is key to the success of this role
