Senior Product Engineer at Tavus

Jack & Jill is recruiting for Tavus, a Series B AI research lab backed by Sequoia Capital and Y Combinator. The Senior Product Engineer will own the development of the Tavus platform, focusing 70% on React frontend and 30% on backend APIs, driving architecture and product strategy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of platform features, from initial ideation and architectural design to final production launch
• Collaborate across design and research teams to shape the product roadmap, ensuring every feature maintains a world-class user experience bar
• Architect and maintain a performant React codebase while building out the necessary backend integrations and APIs to support real-time simulation

Requirements:

• Proven track record of building and scaling consumer-facing products from scratch at high-growth, early-stage startups
• Expert-level proficiency in React and modern frontend ecosystems, complemented by a strong understanding of backend system design and API integration
• Senior-level ownership mindset with a deep passion for design, high UX standards, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts with clarity
