We are seeking 1 Database Administrator 3 to provide advanced database administration support for complex enterprise applications with intricate data models, workflows, and reporting requirements.
The role focuses on database optimization, performance tuning, cloud migration, and integration within a modern technology environment. The successful candidate will support Full-stack Java applications running on a cloud platform (Azure/AWS) in an Agile (Scrum) development environment.

Years Required/Preferred Experience 10 Required Experience in database administration 8 Required Experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases 8 Required Experience in database design, analysis, and performance tuning 8 Required Experience designing enterprise applications and/or services 8 Required Experience creating technical and functional design documentation 8 Required Experience working within the Software Development Life Cycle using Agile methodology (Scrum preferred) 8 Required Experience with multi-tier system/application development (SOA, Microservices, 3-Tier applications, etc.)Preferred Qualifications:
Years Preferred Experience 6 Preferred Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes into Azure SQL 4 Preferred Experience with large-volume databases, high availability, and disaster recovery infrastructure 4 Preferred Proficiency in converting and adapting database structures for cloud environments, specifically Azure 3 Preferred Experience configuring PowerBI environments and developing PowerBI reports 3 Preferred Experience with DevOps technologies including CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git 3 Preferred 3 years of experience with Azure cloud platform 2 Preferred Experience migrating on-premises databases to cloud environments (Azure preferred) 1 Preferred Azure certification (preferred but not required) 1 Preferred DBA Associate certifications (preferred but not required)Additional Knowledge & Skills:

Services are expected to begin on 05/01/2026 and are expected to conclude by 08/31/2026. The total estimated hours shall not exceed 1200 hours. This engagement may be amended, renewed, or extended upon mutual written agreement.
Services shall primarily be provided during normal business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding state holidays.

Any travel, per diem, parking, or living expenses will be the responsibility of the candidate/vendor. Overtime (beyond 40 hours per week) must be pre-approved and will be paid at the standard hourly rate.
