🔷 Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Data Engineer with 12+ years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in SQL, ETL development, database systems, and cloud platforms, along with a deep understanding of data migration and performance optimization.

🔷 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Lead data migration projects (e.g., Oracle to PostgreSQL / cloud platforms)
• Develop and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, procedures, and packages
• Perform database performance tuning using tools like AWR, ASH, and Explain Plan
• Build and manage data warehouse architectures (OLTP & OLAP systems)
• Implement data integration solutions using ETL tools such as Informatica PowerCenter or similar
• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for data storage and processing
• Automate workflows using UNIX shell scripting and job schedulers (AutoSys, Control-M, Cron)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance across systems
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization

🔷 Required Skills

• Strong expertise in SQL and PL/SQL development
• Hands-on experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or similar databases
• Extensive experience in ETL development and data warehousing concepts
• Strong knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization
• Experience with data migration and transformation projects
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux shell scripting
• Experience with job scheduling tools (AutoSys, Control-M, Cron)
• Familiarity with data modeling and database design

🔷 Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with modern data tools (e.g., Spark, Airflow, Snowflake)
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Exposure to reporting tools (SSRS, Tableau, Power BI)

• 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering / ETL / Database Development
• Proven experience in handling large-scale enterprise data systems

🔷 Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
