Job Description:

Server-side development focus - still need some UI HM is looking for Full but with a lean to API / backend development any blend of 60/40 | 70/30 | 80/20 - back to front) would be perfectly fine.

7 years of experience minimum - targeting 8-10 years of experience

Tech Stack / Skill Needed: API / backend leaning FSE. If candidates lean more backend that is fine Angular TS / React / Vue.js - any of these would be fine NodeJS, NPM Java Spring Boot - needs api / micro development Cloud - AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Azure - will be AWS for the team - but any cloud experience would do regardless of the provider AWS services (API Gateway, IAM, Secrets Manager, Lambda, SNS, SQS, Ec2, RDS, EKS) Async / Streaming and event driven architecture: Kafka or Kinesis, and MQ like SNS / SQS with serverless CI/CD - jenkins, docker, Kubernetes (knowledge of EKS - configuring is not needed) - but troubleshooting containerized apps is important With CI/CD - making pipelines -or editing modifying pipelines

Needs testing - unit level at minimum - and possibly integration / e2e 2 rounds to be conducted.

The Purpose of Your Role

We build Applications that support Client’s large scale digital presence. You will help us design and develop re-usable APIs, Web components that focus on customer experience needs and optimize quality and deployment practices. You’ll be involved in the entire development lifecycle from concept to deployment as a member of an agile, multi-functional team.

The Skills You Bring

•        8+ years of hands-on experience in software development

•        Hands-on experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), building RESTful services, JSON, and modern Application Servers

•        Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript and Java

•        Knowledge of web application development using Angular, NodeJS, React, HTML, CSS/SASS and ExpressJS

•        Deep understanding of API design, including versioning, isolation and micro-services. Having GraphQL knowledge is a plus

•        Knowledge of cloud computing environments and applications (AWS, Azure)

•        Experience in documenting APIs employing an API documentation framework like OpenAPI

•        Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Delivery tools like Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, and NPM

•        Knowledge in Container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)

•        Strong knowledge of developing highly scalable distributed systems using open-source technologies

•        Working knowledge of testing frameworks like Jest, Karma, Junit, Cypress

•        Experience in Agile methodologies (Kanban, SCRUM)

•        Knowledge of relational (Postgres, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL database management systems

•        Excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization globally

•        Strong team player and able to mentor junior team members
