As Global Privacy & Compliance Manager (m/f/d), you will safeguard the integrity of our organization at the intersection of high-emotion B2C events, global gym partners, and B2B collaborations. Because sport is built on trust, fairness, and community, compliance for us is far more than a mandatory task: it protects the integrity of our athletes and the values that define HYROX globally.
Your mission is to implement a robust compliance framework that legally secures our global growth and minimizes reputational risks. You will ensure that our innovations and partnerships are always based on transparency and a deep respect for personal data—thereby creating the fundamental trust for our worldwide community.
Leading Global Data Privacy Initiatives: You drive key projects such as data mapping, frameworks for international data transfers, and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
Policy Management: You create and maintain global data privacy policies, considering evolving laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and the EU AI Act.
Risk Management: You identify, assess, and support the remediation of global and local data privacy risks.
Expert Consulting: You act as the central Subject Matter Expert (SME) and advise on complex data privacy inquiries.
Incident Management: You manage the response to data privacy incidents and lead crisis management efforts.
Compliance Responsibility: You are responsible for further regulatory topics such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Anti-Bribery, and Whistleblowing.
Business Partnering: You work closely with Marketing, Events, and IT to foster a strong compliance culture focused on "Business Enablement."
Training: You develop and coordinate comprehensive global training sessions on data privacy and compliance.
Education: You hold a degree in Law, Business Law, or a related field with specialized compliance certification.
Experience: You bring at least 5 years of professional experience in a legal or compliance role, ideally within the sports or entertainment industry.
Core Competencies: You have a deep understanding of AI, AdTech, CRM systems, and data architecture.
Work Style: You have the ability to balance legal risks with business objectives.
Personality: You are a pragmatic problem-solver with excellent analytical skills and a high degree of autonomy.
IT Tools: You are proficient in tech tools such as Monday.com and GSuite.
Languages: English (C1/C2), other languages are a plus.
