Software Engineer - Workflows

Transcend is seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Engineer on the Workflows Team to build software that helps companies tackle tough privacy challenges. The successful candidate will collaborate with product managers and designers to build business-critical features and ship production-ready code while focusing on privacy goals.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers and designers to build business-critical features
• Think critically about the implications of what you're building, and how it relates to the overarching privacy goals of our customers
• Ship production-ready code
• Know what tests to write, what to log, what metrics to capture, what alerts to set up
• Work across the stack to deliver features: Typescript, React, GraphQL, Node.js, PostgreSQL, AWS
• Proactively fix production and development issues
• Use these experiences to accelerate your growth as an engineer

Requirements:

• Less than 2 years of experience in software engineering
• Ability to take charge of your own professional and technical learnings
• Ability to know when to ask for help, and when to try to solve a problem on your own
• Ability to strike a good balance between learning how something works deeply and getting a task done
• Ability to actively seek feedback from others to improve your own work
• Ability to identify trade-offs and take them into consideration when making decisions
• Caring about business impact and prioritizing projects accordingly
• Ability to enjoy & be effective at async and online methods of communication
• Excitement to grow your engineering knowledge and abilities
