Scalence L.L.C. is seeking a Market Research Manager III to fill a temporary role due to an employee's maternity leave. The role involves leading market insights and analytics projects to provide actionable recommendations for strategic decisions and managing all aspects of business intelligence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead market insights and analytics projects to develop actionable recommendations based on market insights that address key business needs and objectives
- Help internal partners/stakeholders make informed strategic and operational decisions
- Independently lead business intelligence planning, implementation, communication of results, and alignment of brand strategies and plans
- Manage all aspects of business intelligence, including initiation of the RFP process, vendor selection, study design, contract execution, budget management, and providing direction on the scope of services to be provided by such resources
- Serve as the pipeline commercialization and strategy market research point of contact supporting different neuroscience assets (focus on migraine)
- Enable and demonstrate leadership on cross-functional business teams to make better and more rapid business decisions by framing & prioritizing critical brand questions
- Provide insights to both current & future market dynamics while proactively identifying and developing analytics solutions to ensure data-driven and objective decision-making
- Play a leading role in the continuous brand planning process based on a deep understanding of the market drivers, patient journey, competition, and positioning
- Ensure all PCS market research activities are conducted on time, within budget, and in accordance with financial and ethical compliance guidelines
Requirements:
- Experience in primary market research, preferably in pharmaceutical/biotech, with pipeline experience as a plus
- Strong client/project management skills, including strong communication skills (verbal and written), attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to create visually impactful slides and craft compelling executive-level stories from primary and secondary insights
- Proficiency in secondary research and analytics using commonly used biotech data sources, including epidemiology, treatment landscape, analyst reports, and competitor analysis
- Ability to work cross-functionally to drive workstreams forward
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Advanced degree (e.g., Masters or PhD)
- Experience in quantitative, qualitative, and competitive intelligence
- Ability to analyze real-world claims data
