About this role
CDW is a company focused on IT solutions, and they are seeking a Platform Engineer. The role will involve operations and project-based work, primarily focusing on developing and building platforms to enable DevOps and support workflow development pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Focus on operations for the first year, then shift to more project based work
- Expanding Netscaler deployment of virtual load balancers in order to enable expansion of platforms to support DevOps
- Provide operational support and administration of DevOps tooling
- Serve as escalation point for issues
- Person will be cross trained and eventually work with other platform technologies including containers (Kubernetes, Dockers Swarm), IaC (Terraform, Ansible)
Requirements:
- Must be willing to work east coast hours
- No third party applications will be considered
- Citrix Netscaler (responsible for configuration, deployment, troubleshooting, and administration of the Advent environment - both physical and virtual)
- Automation (Nitro, Terraform, or Ansible to help automate load balancing functions)
- Will focus on helping develop and build platforms to enable DevOps and support workflows development pipelines
- Provide operational support and administration of DevOps tooling
- Serve as escalation point for issues
- Person will be cross trained and eventually work with other platform technologies including containers (Kubernetes, Dockers Swarm), IaC (Terraform, Ansible)
- Azure load balancing
- API Management
- Comfortable with Nitro, Ansible, or Terraform
