Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses that aims to increase the GDP of the internet. The Staff Product Manager, Orchestration Lead will take full ownership of a key product, shaping its vision and architecture while leading cross-functional teams to deliver a cohesive platform experience.
Responsibilities:
- Define a multi-year vision for Orchestration that anticipates the next decade of user scale and complexity
- Lead Engineering and Design through every phase of the product lifecycle, from 0-to-1 development to General Availability
- Enforce rigorous standards for product quality, API design, and system reliability, building trust with our largest enterprise users
- Partner with Sales and GTM teams to pitch the product, win key deals, and translate user feedback into roadmap priorities
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert on the payment orchestration landscape, managing relationships with partners and ecosystem vendors
- Drive cross-functional alignment with teams like Core API and Stripe Checkout to deliver a cohesive platform experience
- Mentor or manage emerging PM talent within the domain
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in product management or a related product role
- A track record of shipping technical B2B products at a high velocity
- An obsession with product quality in all its forms—from API design to dashboard UX and documentation
- Existing knowledge of the payments landscape or a demonstrated ability to learn complex domains quickly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for articulating user problems precisely
- An ownership mindset; you are willing to do whatever it takes to solve problems and delight users
- Ability to dig deep into data, think from first principles, and deliver the right results
- A background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- The ability to understand complex systems at a deep technical level
- Specific experience in payment orchestration or payment processing
