They are seeking an experienced Engine Services Sales Director - Americas to lead their GATES sales division, focusing on developing and executing sales strategies while building relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for overhaul and unscheduled engine removal services, aligning with overall company goals and objectives
- Monitor sales metrics and performance indicators to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales quotas and revenue targets
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and initiatives
- Identify and target potential clients and markets for engine services, expanding the company’s customer base
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and industry influencers to maximize business opportunities
- Drive the development of new business proposals, partnerships, and contracts to enhance the company’s position in the market
- Act as a primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their needs and addressing any concerns
- Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements, industry trends, and competitive landscape to tailor solutions that meet client needs
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and maintain long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities and potential risks
- Provide market insights to internal teams for the development of new products, services, and enhancements
- Recommend strategic adjustments to sales tactics based on market dynamics and feedback
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to executive leadership

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- Proven track record of at least 8-10 years in sales leadership in the aviation industry
- Strong understanding of engine services, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) processes
- Excellent leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations
- Proven negotiation and deal-closing abilities
- Experience in building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events 50-60%
