Instructional Designer

Comrise is looking for a skilled and passionate Instructional Designer to join the Operations Training team in Foster City, CA. In this role, you will translate complex business needs into engaging, effective learning solutions that empower teams to operate and service products efficiently and at scale.

Position Overview

As an expert in adult learning principles, you will lead the design and development of impactful, measurable learning courses. You will partner closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and cross-functional stakeholders to co-create dynamic curricula for live classrooms, workshops, and immersive e-learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Content Design & Development: Design educational content adhering to instructional design principles, ensuring learning objectives align with business goals.

• Blended Learning Solutions: Create blended learning experiences, including instructor-led (ILT), virtual (vILT), and eLearning solutions using AGILE methodologies.

• Digital Learning Expertise: Develop interactive online learning experiences using advanced authoring tools, focusing on content structure, clarity, and SCORM compliance.

• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with product technical experts, service leaders, and program managers to align training with operational and strategic priorities.

• Quality & Evaluation: Regularly assess training solutions for quality and impact on learner behavior, implementing iterative improvements to drive measurable outcomes.

• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline content development and shorten production times while maintaining high-quality brand standards.

• Travel: Ability to travel up to 15% of the time across business sites as needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: 6 8 years of instructional design experience with a focus on blended learning (OLT, ILT, and vILT).

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field.

• Technical Skills: Working knowledge of authoring tools such as Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline), Camtasia, Vyond, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.

• Portfolio Required: Must provide a portfolio of work samples demonstrating your approach to content design, learner experience, and instructional strategy.

• Soft Skills: Strong communicator and creative problem solver who can work independently in a fast-paced environment with frequent change.

• Industry Preference: Experience in Autonomous Vehicle or Operations training is preferred but not required.

Compensation & Location

• Location: Foster City, CA (On-site).

• Pay Rate: $67.78 USD Per Hour.
