Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Management Consultant (Level 1) to support early-stage development of utility-scale solar projects within the Engineering & Construction (E&C) organization. This is an entry-level, high-visibility role offering strong career growth in renewable energy project management. You will work closely with the Regional Lead Project Manager to manage projects through early-stage phases including screening, diligencing, and pipeline development.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of assigned solar projects through early-stage development phases
- Manage project lifecycle including screening, diligencing, and early-stage pipeline activities
- Analyze technical and financial data to assess project feasibility and performance
- Develop, manage, and track project capital budgets
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineering, permitting, and development
- Support permitting, engineering coordination, and project planning activities
- Assist in developing construction plans and project schedules
- Support negotiation and execution of commercial contracts
- Identify optimization opportunities to improve technical and financial outcomes
- Maintain project data, documentation, and reporting using project management tools
- Communicate project updates, risks, and progress to leadership
- Ensure project readiness for transition to late-stage project management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field
- 0 5 years of experience in project coordination, analysis, or engineering support
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Proactive mindset with ability to work independently
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong financial analysis and data interpretation skills
- Interest or exposure to renewable energy, solar, or construction industry
- Basic understanding of technical or mechanical concepts
