Atos Group is a global leader in digital transformation, and they are seeking a Lead NG9‑1‑1 Engineer / Architect to drive customer-winning Next Generation 9‑1‑1 solutions. In this senior role, you will act as the technical authority for NG9‑1‑1 opportunities, leading solution design and engaging in complex presales customer engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Drive and lead complex presales customer engagements for NG9‑1‑1 solutions
- Design and document end‑to‑end NG9‑1‑1 customer solutions, ensuring technical, operational, and commercial viability
- Serve as technical lead for customer RFPs, SOWs, and competitive bids
- Act as the customer‑facing technical lead, participating in presentations, demonstrations, and technical workshops
- Lead internal validation and solution handover workshops to delivery and operations teams
- Engage, assess, and validate third‑party solution elements as part of integrated NG9‑1‑1 architectures
- Participate in and promote Atos NG9‑1‑1 solutions during NENA activities and industry engagements
Requirements:
- Proven customer‑facing solution architecture or technical presales experience
- Strong competitive knowledge, longevity, and experience within the NG9‑1‑1 industry
- Ability to appropriately market NG9‑1‑1 solutions and make informed, experienced design decisions
- Expertise in NG9‑1‑1 technologies, including: NENA NGCS and ESInet, NG‑SECCall Handling platforms (preferred)
- Strong background in: Cisco data networking, Cybersecurity, Carrier‑grade telecommunications and SIP
- Strong technical understanding of: Cisco data networking, Cybersecurity architectures, Carrier‑grade telecom and SIP, IT infrastructure, including compute, storage, and VMware, NOC tools and operational monitoring environments
- Ability to lead technical workshops and design meetings
- Demonstrated capability to design complex, multi‑faceted NG9‑1‑1 solutions for customers
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear customer benefits and value
- Ability to translate detailed technical concepts into higher‑level terminology understood by broader, non‑technical audiences
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including persuasive presentation abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills to enable effective collaboration with clients, partners, and internal teams
- Strong analytical skills to analyze customer requirements
- Ability to propose tailored NG9‑1‑1 solutions that address specific customer needs and operational challenges
