New York Technology Partners is seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking AI/ML Engineer to drive the adoption and implementation of artificial intelligence across their engineering organization. This role will focus on building scalable, responsible AI solutions leveraging both Generative AI and traditional machine learning techniques to solve complex business and healthcare challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the adoption and integration of AI/ML capabilities across the engineering team, promoting innovative use of Generative AI and traditional machine learning approaches
- Design, build, test, deploy, and continuously enhance AI-driven software solutions aligned with customer and business needs
- Develop and implement responsible AI solutions, ensuring compliance with ethical, regulatory, and industry standards
- Build advanced AI/ML features, including: Generative AI applications, Predictive analytics models, Intelligent automation capabilities
- Provide technical leadership for AI initiatives, including chatbot and conversational AI development
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering leadership to design scalable AI solutions for healthcare-focused use cases
- Align AI/ML initiatives with enterprise strategy, ensuring adherence to best practices, architecture standards, and business objectives
- Own the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and production-ready AI solutions with a focus on operational excellence
- Mentor and guide engineers on AI/ML frameworks, tools, and responsible AI practices
- Partner with broader engineering teams to embed AI capabilities into cloud modernization and digital transformation initiatives
- Independently prioritize, plan, and manage AI/ML projects and deliverables
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, or related roles
- Hands-on experience with: Machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Hands-on experience with: Generative AI technologies (LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with: Python and data processing libraries
- Experience building and deploying AI/ML models in production environments
- Strong understanding of responsible AI principles, model governance, and ethical AI practices
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Experience in healthcare or regulated industries
- Knowledge of data privacy, compliance, and security standards (e.g., HIPAA)
- Exposure to cloud modernization and digital transformation initiatives
- Experience with conversational AI and chatbot development is a plus
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) and MLOps practices
