Software Engineer (Trading)

Phantom is a modern money app used by tens of millions around the world, combining essential tools for managing, spending, and growing money in a user-friendly experience. As a Software Engineer, you will design and implement APIs and data pipelines to enhance trading experiences, while leading initiatives to support additional blockchains and new products.

Responsibilities:

• You’ll design and implement APIs, data pipelines, and services that bridge the gap between blockchain infrastructure and the seamless, intuitive experiences our users expect
• You’ll focus on the implementation and aggregation of new trading protocols, aggregators, and trade types, as well as experimenting with new trading surfaces and user segments
• You will be owning features on our web platforms – currently the Phantom Extension and our website
• You will be leading initiatives to add support for other blockchains to Phantom, and to launch new complementary products or infrastructure
• You will be interfacing directly with end-users and developers building on Phantom – supporting them and collecting feedback to inform the direction of the product
• You will be working with the team to create and foster a culture of raising the bar with each new hire

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years full-time software engineering experience
• Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms
• Experience working with trading systems
• English language proficiency
