Turnberry Solutions is a consulting firm focused on digital modernization, and they are seeking a Security Engineer to join their Digital Modernization practice. The role involves ensuring security measures, managing security incidents, and collaborating with various stakeholders to maintain the integrity of security services.
Responsibilities:
- Product visioning and planning with program manager
- Ability to ensure evidence collection methods are conducted, managed, and archived in a manner consistent with provided guidelines, to maintain preservation and protection of data and evidence
- Identify and recommend areas requiring change or modification
- Perform complex and routine updates for security products
- Handle security incidents and provide high level support with help desk tickets
- Manage the security relationships with in-scope lines of business, customers, suppliers and stakeholders ensuring the integrity of the Security service
- Weekly calls with GRC team and company coming in
- Conversations either weekly/bi-weekly having access to the tools
- Making updates as necessary; updating leadership, keeping up with trackers
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Experience working in an information security role
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in technology or security field
- Understanding of network and security controls
- Proficient at the secure software development lifecycle and devops
- Proficient in Agile/Scrum
- Ability to deal with complexity and high pressure situations and effective decision making
- Excellent communicator, able to analyze and clearly articulate complex issues and technologies understandably and engagingly
- Great design and problem solving skills
- Adaptable, proactive, and driven to take ownership
- Keen attention to detail and high level of commitment
- Cybersecurity Engineering background (less IT, more cybersecurity based)
- Incident response is a plus
- Threat detection engineering
- Incident problem coordination
- Databricks, splunk, power BI are some tools used
- Mergers and acquisitions experience is a plus
