Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS/Terraform)

Kforce Inc is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer on behalf of a major telecommunications client. This high-impact role focuses on building and managing scalable cloud infrastructure within a modern AWS environment, emphasizing infrastructure as code and automation.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Support and scale AWS services across a distributed environment
• Manage and maintain data lake infrastructure (primarily S3) to ensure accessibility
• Implement infrastructure as code best practices (no manual console usage)
• Contribute to and enhance CI/CD pipelines
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (multiple years preferred)
• Deep knowledge of AWS, including: EKS (Kubernetes), Lambda, S3, IAM, Networking (critical)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab or similar)
• Proven ability to operate at a senior level and work independently
• Experience with Python
• Familiarity with Kubernetes environments
• Exposure to bare metal infrastructure
