Sandisk is a company known for its innovative solutions in data consumption and memory technologies. They are seeking a Senior Business Analyst within the People Experience function to enhance technology solutions that improve employee experiences through automation and AI.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end‑to‑end HR technology initiatives across discovery, design, testing, and launch, managing risks, dependencies, and cross‑team handoffs
- Serve as a strategic partner across PX and partner teams, presenting insights, recommendations, and ROI to leadership to secure alignment and buy‑in
- Recommend scalable, fit‑for‑purpose solutions aligned with Sandisk’s people strategy, technology roadmap, and industry best practices
- Support data governance policies through documentation and identification of privacy, access, and compliance risks
- Conduct discovery and current‑state analysis by mapping people processes, user journeys, pain points, and data flows to uncover value opportunities
- Elicit, validate, and prioritize business requirements through interviews, workshops, and observation, challenging legacy approaches and clarifying business outcomes
- Drive digital and AI transformation initiatives by modernizing manual and repetitive HR processes into scalable, automated workflows
- Design and prototype streamlined HR workflows and service experiences that prioritize usability, accessibility, efficiency, and compliance
- Assess HR platforms, tools, and modules across the portfolio and recommend fit‑for‑purpose solutions
- Develop implementation‑ready artifacts including functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, process documentation, and data definitions
- Translate HR requirements into technical acceptance criteria and partner with IT and vendors through configuration, testing, and release
- Own User Acceptance Testing: develop test plans/cases, coordinate HR end-users, capture feedback and triage defects
- Prepare and deliver go‑live assets such as training materials, user guides, and end‑user enablement sessions
- Monitor post launch performance metrics and iterate solutions based on adoption data and user feedback
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience, including at least 3 years as a business analyst or product specialist focused on HR systems (such as Workday, ServiceNow, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
- Led complex, end‑to‑end HR system initiatives in global environments, encompassing requirements definition, process mapping, solution design, and user acceptance testing
- Digitized and optimized core HR processes by replacing manual workflows with scalable, automated solutions and enhancing existing system capabilities to drive efficiency and consistency
- Designed and delivered employee‑centric HR solutions that measurably improve usability, adoption, and the overall employee experience
- Expertise in HR systems and their core functionalities to support business and people's strategy objectives
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, including HR operations, talent management, payroll/compensation, absence management, and performance management
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and facilitation capabilities with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Skilled in Lean, Agile, Design Thinking, and other continuous improvement methodologies
- Working knowledge of APIs, integrations, and key technical concepts to enable effective collaboration with IT partners
