RiseIT Solutions is a technology company looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to manage and optimize their production and non-production environments. The role involves expertise in Microsoft and Linux technologies, cloud infrastructure, and deployment processes, ensuring system performance and availability.
Responsibilities:
- Subject matter expert in multiple Microsoft and Linux Technologies. (Azure, Office365, Active Directory, DNS, ADFS, Clustering, etc)
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of our Production, Staging / Disaster Recover environments
- Responsible for management of non-production environments for development, performance testing and validation testing
- Responsible for the design and build of resources on premise and in a cloud hosted infrastructure including servers, networks, storage, disks, etc
- Maintaining our Single Sign On processes utilizing OAuth, OpenID, SAML protocols connecting to cloud technologies and on premises servers such as SiteMinder/Identity Manager and Identity Server
- Implement and maintain system performance monitoring tools such as AppDynamcis, HostMon, Anglefish and Azure Monitors
- Deploy and support web and mobile applications to lower environments promoting up to Production
- Deploy and support clustered environments such as Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, SharePoint, SQL Servers and Always-On Availability Groups and Containerized Web Services
- Be available for 24 hour On-Call rotation and for escalated incidentsand alerts
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, preferred
- Minimum Experience: Five years of relevant experience, preferred
- Looking for a SME in Linux - the experience level must be current and we want at least 8 years of experience
- Kubernetes - Mass migrations happening on a daily basis
- Azure - Deploying data on daily basis
- CI/CD - Deployment and Configuration
- Terraform

- Subject matter expert on cloud computing platforms such as MS Azure, AWS
- Ability to write extremely complicated scripts using PowerShell
- Experience with monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, Hostmon, Azure Monitors
- Subject matter expert on Operating Systems from Windows 2012 up to 2019 and Linux servers such as CentOS and RedHat
- Advance knowledge of load balancing technologies like F5
- Advance knowledge of SharePoint technologies 2016 or higher
- Experience with identity management technologies such as SiteMinder/Identity Manager or Identity Server is a plus
- Advance knowledge of installing and configuring MS IIS and Applications pools
- Experience with SQL Server (installation and configuration) is a plus
- Working knowledge of troubleshooting tools such as developer tools, Fiddler, etc
- Advance knowledge with Azure Dev Ops, pipelines, releases and builds
