E-Waste Facility Technician

Clean Harbors located in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking to add E-Waste Facility Technicians to the team. The Technicians will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner. This includes loading / unloading trucks, preparing waste shipments, reconciling inventory, general housekeeping, and compliance with waste storage. 

This position is going to be working in our new E-waste facility dealing with electronic waste disposal and dismantling, computers etc. 

Shift: 7:00am- 3:30pm; Day shift, Mon-Fri. OT and Saturdays as needed. 

Pay: $20-23 DOE

• Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
• Load and unload route trucks;
• Dismantle electronic waste to get it ready for all stages of recycling;
• Prepare waste loads for shipment to Recycle Center/Distribution Center;
• Manage inventory order and receiving process;
• General housekeeping and keeping a clean work area;
• Ensure waste is stored in safe and proper manner.

• HS Diploma or equivalent required;

• Use of hand tools and mechanical aptitude required;

   

• Experience with E-waste preferred but not required;
• Experience and familiarity with Excel, Word, etc;
• 1 plus years of related labor and computer experience preferred;
• Ability to drive trucks within facility;
• Forklift skills preferred.
