We partner directly with schools to provide high-quality, on-site mental health services to children and adolescents — removing barriers to care and meeting students where they are.

$65 per billable hour — LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT (independently licensed)
$45 per billable hour — LMSW, LGPC (clinical supervision provided)
Consistent school-based referrals help maintain a steady caseload.
Work school hours (7 AM–4 PM). Enjoy your evenings and weekends free.
Support students in elementary, middle, and high school settings — becoming a trusted, consistent presence in their daily environment.
Work alongside teachers, administrators, and families to create meaningful change.
Free clinical supervision for pre-licensed clinicians
CEU reimbursement (up to $300 annually)

Join a community of clinicians and operational leaders who prioritize collaboration, mentorship, and clinician well-being.
Provide on-site, school-based individual therapy during school hours
Offer telehealth sessions (optional) to supplement caseload or support onboarding
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments
Develop individualized, student-centered treatment plans
Collaborate with school staff, caregivers, and the Backpack clinical team
Maintain timely documentation in our EHR
Participate in supervision and case consultations (as applicable)
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
Active Maryland license (LCSW-C, LMSW, LCPC, or LGPC)
Experience working with youth (school-based, outpatient, or virtual settings)
Strong skills in individual and family therapy
Trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach
Passion for increasing access to mental health care for children and teens
